Reiki

This natural healing modality was re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Scholar and monk in the early 20th century. There is a nonphysical ubiquitous energy that gives life to every living organism. The Japanese call this energy Ki. It is also known as Chi by the Chinese, Prana by many Asian Cultures and the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost by most of the western world. We all carry this energy in and around our bodies from the moment we are conceived. Science has established its existence, and with the aid of KIRLIAN photography we are able to see this energy that encompasses all living things. REI means universal, omnipresent - present everywhere at the same time. Esoterically REI means spiritual consciousness, the omniscient wisdom from God. KI is the nonphysical vitality that gives life to all living things. It relates to the superior, all-encompassing cosmic energy from which all other energies in the universe draw its power.
